My first attempt at making healthy pasta. Turned out pretty yummy.

Recipe Ingredients for Linguine and Turkey Italian Sausage

1 lb Linguine
1 lb Turkey Italian Sausage cut into rounds
4 carrots
2 c broccoli florets
2 c sliced mushrooms
1 c sliced onion
4 garlic cloves
1/2 c white wine
1/2 c sliced fresh basil
1/2 c fresh shredded Parmesan
1 salt
1 pepper

Recipe Directions for Linguine and Turkey Italian Sausage

  1. Boil water for pasta. And prepare as directed on box. (be sure to save 1/4c of water)

  2. Slice veggies and sausage.

  3. Brown Sausage making sure to keep separated. Place in a bowl to the side.

  4. Throw veggies into pan along with wine.

  5. Saute for 3-5min until tender.

  6. Add 1/4c water from the pasta.

  7. Add sausage.

  8. Toss noodles in with veg/sausage mix.

  9. Top with basil and Parm.
