Recipe Ingredients for Linguine with Tomatoes and Mushrooms

1 pound linguine
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon kosher salt
3 cloves garlic, minced
8 ounces button mushrooms, sliced
1/4 cup chopped basil
4 roma tomatoes, chopped
1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan

Recipe Directions for Linguine with Tomatoes and Mushrooms

  1. Cook the linguine according to the package directions.

  2. Meanwhile, heat the oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the garlic and mushrooms and cook, covered, for 6 minutes.

  3. Add tomatoes and heat through. Stir in basil.

  4. Transfer the pasta to plates, spoon the sauce over the top, and sprinkle with the cheese.
