This is to serve with spaghetti. You could add garlic or oregano for different flavours.

Recipe Ingredients for Linda's Pork Meatballs & Sauce

500 g pork, lean, minced
1/2 cup breadcrumbs, fresh
1/4 cup parsley, chopped
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1/2 cup celery, chopped
400 g tomatoes, tinned, chopped

Recipe Directions for Linda's Pork Meatballs & Sauce

  1. Put the onion and celery into a microwavable container with a few tablespoons of water, cover and microwave a few minutes until they are soft. Put them into a saucepan now, and add the tomatoes, bring to a boil and then slowly reduce the sauce to a consistency you like - season with salt and pepper at that point.

  2. Mix the pork with the crumbs, parsley and egg. Season well. Divide into four and then make three or six little balls from each. Fry slowly in a pan, letting the fat run out. When they are all brown, remove, pat dry of fat with kitchen paper and then add to your sauce for a few minutes. Check the seasoning before serving over your choice of spaghetti.
