'B' Grade and 69 Calories each. I make them year round and cut them into flowers and hearts rather than men. Use Prune baby food for the puree - it's easier to find!

Recipe Ingredients for Lilygirl's Sugar-free Molasses Cookies

2 cup flour, all purpose
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
3/4 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp cloves, ground
75 g prune puree
1/4 cup shortening
1 cup Splenda granular
3 tbsp molasses
1 egg

Recipe Directions for Lilygirl's Sugar-free Molasses Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 350F. Lightly spray baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray or use siliicone mats on sheets.

  2. In small bowl, sift togehter flour, baking soda, cinnamon, giner and cloves. Set aside

  3. In a medium bowl with an electric mixer, beat together prunes, shortening, Splenda, molasses and egg until creamy. Beat 2-3 minutes until light and fluffy.

  4. Stir in flour mixture.

  5. Divide dough in half and wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerae until firm, at least 1 hour. Dough can be refrigerated for up to 2 days.

  6. Remove 1 disk of dough from fridge and cut in half, returning unused portion to fridge. Lighty flour work surface and roll out dough to 1/8" thick and cut into desired shapes.

  7. Place on baking sheet. Bake 6-8 minutes.

  8. GINGER COOKIES: roll 1 tablespoon of dough into a ball, place on baking sheet and flatten with botton of a glass. Dust with graulated suger if desiref prior to baking.
