Recipe Ingredients for Lilygirl's Slow Cooker Baked Beans

454 g navy beans
1 1/2 cups chopped onion
5 cups water
1/2 cup ketchup
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup molasses
1 tsp dry mustard
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper

Recipe Directions for Lilygirl's Slow Cooker Baked Beans

  1. Combine dried beans, onion and water in 3.5 quart (3.5L) slow cooker. Stir. Cover on Low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4-5 hours. Do not drain.

  2. Add remaining 6 ingredients. Stir Well. Cover. Cook on high for 2-3 hours or on Low for 4-6 hours to blend flavours.

  3. Makes 6 cups.
