a slightly lighter version, not fried

Recipe Ingredients for Lighter Chicken Parmesan

8 oz chicken breast, skinless, boneless
3/4 cup tomato sauce
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/8 cup parmesan cheese, grated
1/2 tsp oregano
1/8 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup egg substitute
1/2 cup mozzarella

Recipe Directions for Lighter Chicken Parmesan

  1. season flour with salt, pepper and oregano

  2. dredge chicken in flour

  3. dip in egg

  4. dredge in breadcrumbs

  5. spray baking dish

  6. spray cooking pan and lightly cook each side of the chicken for a minute to give crunch

  7. put chicken in dish, cover in sauce and cheese

  8. bake until cheese is bubbling and eat!
