A healthier pancake that doesn't compromise on taste. All-natural ingredients. Especially good with honey!

Recipe Ingredients for Light wholewheat pancakes

55 large egg egg
150 ml lowfat milk
1 pinch cinnamon
2 1/2 tsp brown sugar
65 g wholewheat flour
55 g plain flour
3 tsp melted butter
1/4 tsp bicarbonate of soda

Recipe Directions for Light wholewheat pancakes

  1. Whisk together egg, milk, sugar & cinnamon till it gets frothy.

  2. Add flours in half at a time, and the melted butter after the 2nd half, whisking after each time.

  3. Heat a non-stick pan on medium with little or no oil/butter.

  4. Add in bicarb of soda, whisk lightly. Add in as much water as needed to achieve the consistency you prefer - I use all of it.

  5. Pour enough batter to make pancakes that are approx 5" in diameter.

  6. Cook till golden on both sides.
