Lighter version of Meatloaf. From Cooking Light (March 2006)

Recipe Ingredients for Light turkey/beef Meatloaf

16 oz Ground Beef - 85% lean
8 oz Fresh Ground Turkey - Lean
56 grams Breadcrumbs
2 oz Parmesan, Shredded Cheese
0.5 cup, sliced Onions
2 large Egg, White
0.5 tsp, leaves Basil, Dried
1 tsp Parsley, Dried
1 tsp Garlic Powder
0.5 tsp Oregano
1 dash Salt, Table
1 dash Pepper, Black

Recipe Directions for Light turkey/beef Meatloaf

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Combine beef/turkey, 1/2 cup pasta sauce plus all the other ingredients.

  3. Spray aluminum foil with cooking spray, and form mixture into a loaf. Cook for 1 hr 10 min or until a thermometer registers 160 degrees. Let stand 10 min and slice into 12 pieces.
