Recipe Ingredients for Light 'N Crisp Waffles

2 egg yolks
2 cups of milk
2 cups of flour, all-purpose
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 cup of oil
2 egg whites, stiffly beaten

Recipe Directions for Light 'N Crisp Waffles

  1. Preheat Waffle Maker.

  2. Put all ingredients, except the egg whites, in a large mixining bowl.

  3. Beat on low until moistened. Increase to medium, mix until smooth.

  4. By hand, gently fold in beaten egg whites.

  5. Pour 3/4 cup of batter over grids. Close Waffle Maker and bake until steam no longer escapes, about 3-5 minutes. Repeat. Serve hot with your favorite topping.
