Meatloaf made with half ground turkey and half ground beef. Gluten free if made with gluten free oats

Recipe Ingredients for Light and Moist Meatloaf--gluten free

3/4 lb Ground Turkey, 85% Lean
3/4 lb ground 90% lean grass feed beef
1 cup oats
15 ounces tomato sauce
1 egg
1 T dried parsley
2 T dehydrated onion
3/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 tsp dry mustard
1 T Blue Agave
1/8 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for Light and Moist Meatloaf--gluten free

  1. preheat oven to 350

  2. spray a 9x7 baking pan

  3. mix together 12 ounces tomato sauce, parsley, salt, pepper, egg, onion and oats

  4. thoroughly mix together beef and turkey

  5. add oat mixture to meat mixture and mix well

  6. scoop into baking pan and pat into oval loaf

  7. bake 50 minutes

  8. meanwhile, mix together remaining tomato sauce, blue agave, dry mustard and a dash of salt

  9. remove loaf from oven after 50 minutes and top with sauce

  10. bake additional 15-20 minutes or until thermometer reads 160

  11. let rest 5 minutes before serving
