45 grams (2 slices) light wheat bread
1 egg
1/4 cup skim milk

Recipe Directions for Light French Toast

  1. Lightly grease skillet with canola oil cooking spray. (Adds maybe 20 cals)

  2. Mix egg and milk in small pan.

  3. Coat each slice of bread with egg and milk batter.

  4. Fry each coated slice of bread in skillet, 3-4 minutes on each side.

  5. Serve with light syrup, if desired.
