A wonerful cheesy snack or light lunch. Tip: Use the finest grated parmesan you can buy, a few tiny pinches go a long way!

Recipe Ingredients for Light and cheesy Pita bread pizzas

1 whole wheat pita bread
30 g Philadelphia Extra Light
20 g tomato puree
40 g red pepper
40 g mushroom
6 g parmesan hard cheese,finely grated

Recipe Directions for Light and cheesy Pita bread pizzas

  1. Cut the pita bread in half and lay on a baking tray

  2. Thinly spread each pita with a layer of tomato puree and philadelhia.

  3. Slice the mushrooms and pepper and spead evenly over the two pita halfs.

  4. Take a few pinches of very finely grated parmesan and sprinkle over the top of each pita.

  5. Grill for 5mins.
