Recipe Ingredients for Lettuce-wrapped Lumpia

1 lb extra lean ground beef
1 small onion, sliced thinly
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp ginger, grated
1/4 head cabbage, shredded
1 carrot, shredded
2 tbsp soy sauce, wheat-free tamari, or Bragg's
1 cup bean sprouts
10 leaves iceberg lettuce, whole

Recipe Directions for Lettuce-wrapped Lumpia

  1. Brown beef, onions, garlic, and ginger in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add cabbage and carrot and stir-fry until softened slightly. Add soy sauce and remove from heat.

  2. Spoon beef mixture into lettuce leaves with a few bean sprouts, and serve immediately.
