Recipe Ingredients for Lettuce Wrap

2 lbs lean ground turkey
1 tbsp sesame seed oil
1 tbsp ginger root, chopped
1/2 cup hoisin sauce
2 tbsp Low sodium soy sauce
2 tbsp rice wine vinegar
60 g sherry
15 g garlic chilli
12 romaine lettuce leaves
1/2 cup red bell pepper, diced
2 tbsp roasted sesame seeds
1/2 cup green onions
8 oz water chestnuts, diced

Recipe Directions for Lettuce Wrap

  1. brown ground turkey

  2. add ginger

  3. move to crockpot

  4. deglaze pan with sherry add to crockpot

  5. add together hoisin, garlic chilli, and soy sauce pour over meat

  6. cook 2-3 hrs high or 3-4 low

  7. add rice wine vinegar and water chestnuts

  8. add 1/2 per leave top with green onion, red pepper and sesame seeds (tsp)
