Recipe Ingredients for lentils and rice with onions

3 large onions
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 cup brown rice
1 cup lentils
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
1 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
