Recipe Ingredients for Lentils and Rice w/Fried Onions

3 tbsp Olive Oil
3 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
1.33 cup Green Lentils
0.75 cup dry Natural Brown Rice
0.5 cup (8 fl oz) Yogurt, Plain, Skim Milk, 13 Grams Protein Per 8 Ounce

Recipe Directions for Lentils and Rice w/Fried Onions

  1. Caramelize onions on med heat in oil

  2. Cook lentils with rice in lightly salted water, about 35 min.

  3. Mix half of onions into lentil mix

  4. Top w/yogurt and remaining onions to serve
