Lentil and vegetable soup based on Lidl's Lentil soup

Recipe Ingredients for Lentil & Vegetable Soup

2 serving Lidl Lentil Soup
2 medium (2-1/4" to 3-1/4" dia.) Potatoes, Boiled
2 medium raw Carrots
2 cup, chopped Cabbage
500 grams Water

Recipe Directions for Lentil & Vegetable Soup

  1. Chop vegetables into small cubes. Make the potatoes about twice the size of the carrot cubes to avoid over cooking.

  2. Put all ingredients in a large pan. Add the 500ml (1pint) of water and bring to the boil then simmer gently for 10-20 minutes until the raw vegetables are cooked.

  3. Serve with crusty wholemeal bread.
