Hearty Lentil Stew with Brown Rice and Veggies

Recipe Ingredients for Lentil Stew

0.33 cup Lentils, Mature Seeds
2 medium slices, cooked (raw product packed 20/lb) Pork, Cured, Bacon
0.5 cup, chopped Onions
0.5 cup, diced Celery
2 clove Garlic
0.25 cup, chopped Carrots
0.5 cup Rice, Brown, Long-grain, Cooked
1.5 tsp Chicken Base
1.5 cup (8 fl oz) Water

Recipe Directions for Lentil Stew

Brown bacon and render fat. Add in onions, celery, and carrots. Sautee for 2-3 min, add in garlic. Add in lentils, water, and chicken base. Simmer for 20 min, stir in cooked rice and let it warm up for about 5 minutes. Add water if too thick. Salt and Pepper to taste.
