Recipe Ingredients for Lentil Spaghetti Bolognese

2 tbsp Olive Oil
1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
4 clove Garlic
2 medium Carrots
1 serving Sea Salt
28 oz Tomato Puree
10 piece Tomatoes, Sun-dried
1 medium Squash, Summer, Zucchini, Includes Skin
0.3 tablespoon Oregano
1 tsp, crumbled Bay Leaf
2 tbsp, ground Basil, Dried
2 cup Lentils, Mature Seeds

Recipe Directions for Lentil Spaghetti Bolognese

  1. 2 Tbsp olive oil

  2. 1 onion, diced

  3. 4 cloves garlic, minced or chopped fine

  4. 2 carrots, grated (secret ingredient)

  5. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  6. 28 oz can, or 2 lb fresh tomato, chopped small or pureed in a blender (800 g)

  7. 2 oz sundried tomato, chopped roughly or added to the blender mix (50g)

  8. 12 oz mushrooms, chopped or sliced or diced

  9. 1 zucchini, grated

  10. 1 tsp dried oregano

  11. 1 bay leaf

  12. .25 cup fbasil leaf

  13. 2 cups cooked lentils (400g)

  14. 1 cup water

  15. Cook the garlic, salt, onion and carrot in the olive oil until they are very soft.

  16. Add all the other ingredients and simmer with the lid off for at least 25 minutes until you are happy with the consistency.

  17. Adjust salt and pepper to taste.

  18. Serve on spaghetti or your favorite pasta shape after removing the bay leaf.
