Rich lentil soup - eat with bread

Recipe Ingredients for Lentil soup

500 grams Lentils, Mature Seeds
500 grams Carrots
800 grams Pumpkin
200 grams Onions
400 grams Tomatoes, Red, Ripe
9 g Vegetable Stock
500 ml water

Recipe Directions for Lentil soup

  1. Medium diced onion; slow fry to golden

  2. Add diced onions, diced pumpkin (1cm cubes)

  3. Add ground nutmeg, allspice, ground cinamon (1/4 tsp each)

  4. Fry another 10 mins

  5. Add tin toms

  6. Drain tinned lentils, add

  7. Leave to simmer for 10 mins

  8. Use blender on 1/2 the soup, so it stays chunky
