Recipe Ingredients for Lentil Soup

2 tbl olive oil
1 cup onion
1/2 cup carrot
1/2 cup celery
2 tsp salt
1 lb lentils
8 oz tomato sauce
2 quarts broth
1/2 tsp coriander
1/2 tsp cumin

Recipe Directions for Lentil Soup

  1. Saute onion, carrot, and celery in olive oil

  2. add salt

  3. add broth, tomatos

  4. add spices

  5. simmer 20 minutes or until lentils are cooked
