A yummy soup bursting with flavours that is low fat and high in nutrients. Serves 6 large portions.

Recipe Ingredients for Lentil Soup

250 grams Carrots, Baby
6 clove Garlic
1 medium White Onion
2 serving Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1.5 cup, diced Celery
2 tsp Paprika
1 tsp Cayenne
2 tsp Cumin
1 tbsp Curry Powder
2.5 cup Lentils Red Organic

Recipe Directions for Lentil Soup

  1. Sautee onions, garlic, and olive oil in large pot.

  2. Add carrots and celery and sautee 2 minutes.

  3. Add all the spices to the sautee mixture and continue until aroma is present.

  4. Add 10 cups of low fat low sodium chicken broth and bring to boil.

  5. Rinse organic lentils, add to pot.

  6. Let simmer for 45 minutes, until lentils are soft.

  7. Add the juice of 4 lemons. Enjoy!
