Recipe Ingredients for Lentil Soup/not vegetarian

3 ounces bacon
1 cup red lentils
1/2 onion
2 stalks celery
28 ounces tomatoes canned
3 cloves garlic
6 cups chicken broth

Recipe Directions for Lentil Soup/not vegetarian

Fry bacon until crisp, add onions, garlic, celery, carrots and saute for 5 minutes or until onion begin to brown. Add lentils, tomatoes, and water, season to taste with salt and pepper
