Recipe Ingredients for lentil sloppy joes

1 cup lentils
4 cups water
1 large onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 large tomato, chopped
2 tbsp mustard
2 tsp apple cider vinegar
1/2 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp ground sage
1/4 tsp dried basil
1 cup ketchup

Recipe Directions for lentil sloppy joes

  1. cook lentils in water til soft

  2. saute onion and garlic, add lentils.

  3. add everything else, and let thicken a little. serve on buns.
