Recipe Ingredients for Lentil & Salami Soup GI Jane

2 1/2 oz red lentils
2 oz salami
6 oz potato
1 carrot
1 onion
2 tsps olive oil
200 g chopped tomatoes
1 pint chicken stock
1 pint water
1 salt and pepper

Recipe Directions for Lentil & Salami Soup GI Jane

  1. Chop the vegetables into a rough dice and the salami into small pieces

  2. Cook the vegetables and lentils in the stock, oil and tomatoes combined for about 20 - 30 minutes

  3. Season well, blend and serve

  4. If too thick, add a little more water
