Recipe Ingredients for lentil/rice soup

2 cups rice
2 cups lentils
1 cup carrots, chopped
1/2 onion
10 cups water
1 cup vegetable broth
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
1 cup mushrooms, sliced

Recipe Directions for lentil/rice soup

  1. place everything in cooker and set on low for 8 hours.

  2. put mushrooms in 1 hour before serving.
