Lentil and potato burger - makes 4 huge burgers

Recipe Ingredients for Lentil and Potato burger

2 tbsp olive oil
1 red onion
200 g red lentils
1 egg
1 potato
2 tbsp sesame seeds
500 ml water
30 g oats

Recipe Directions for Lentil and Potato burger

  1. fry the onion and add 2cm of grated ginger and the lentils. Fry for 3 mins

  2. Add water and simmer for 25 minutes

  3. Blend half the lentil mix and then combine with the rest of the lentils, the potato (boiled & mashed), egg and rolled porridge oats

  4. pat out the mixture into 4 burgers and shake toasted sesame seeds over the burgers.

  5. fry each side for 2 minutes each.
