Recipe Ingredients for lentil and pasta soup

1 tablespoon olive oil
1 medium onion, chopped finely
4 garlic cloves, chopped finely
12 oz carrots, sliced
2 ounces celery, chopped finely
8 oz red lentils
2 pint water, boiling
5 grams marigold swiss vegetable powder
1 salt and pepper, season to taste
5 1/2 oz pasta dryweight

Recipe Directions for lentil and pasta soup

  1. cook pasta set aside.

  2. Heat the oil and fry off the onions and garlic, then add the celery and carrots andplace lid on pan saute vegetable on a low heat for 5 - 10 minutes, now add the 1 pint of vegetable stock lentils and seasoning and simmer for 15 minutes or until lentils are quite tender.

  3. blend the soup until smooth and then add the cooked pasta and bring soup back to temperature and serve hot with crusty bread.
