Warm lentil salad with halloumi and whole wheat pasta

Recipe Ingredients for Lentil, Pasta, Halloumi Cheese Salad

3 Serving Lentils
0.5 package Halloom Semi Soft Unripened Cheese
3 oz dry Whole Wheat Penne
2 tsp Splendido Extra Virgin Olive Oil Cold Pressed
1 oz Carrots
1 oz Onions
2/3 cup Sweet Peas
0.25 cup, chopped Peppers, Sweet, Green
0.5 medium whole (2-3/5" dia) Tomatoes, Red, Ripe

  1. saute vegetables in olive oil

  2. add lentils and 2 cups vegetable stock

  3. garlic, cumin, ras el hanout to taste

  4. when lentils are cooked, add cokked pasta and diced fried halloom
