Warm salad Heat salad and add warm ingredients to cold lettuce

Recipe Ingredients for Lentil, Olive and Cabbage Salad

2 tbsp lentils
1/2 onion, chopped finely
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp sage leaves, chopped
1 tsp fresh basil leaves, chopped
1/2 tsp fresh thyme leaves, chopped
6 kalamata olives, slivered
1 cups cabbage, chopped
1 cup lettuce
1/2 cup broccoli, chopped finely (raw)
2 tsp pumpkin seeds
2 tbsp soy beans
1/2 cup snow peas
2 tsp sultanas
1 tbsp hummus

Recipe Directions for Lentil, Olive and Cabbage Salad

  1. saute onion and garlic

  2. add herbs and cabbage

  3. Cool lentils for 15 mins add soy beans for last 5 mins

  4. Add to lettuce last minute before serving.
