1 medium onion 3-4 cloves of garlic 3 tsp cumin, or more 1 tsp allspice 1 tsp chili powder Just a little cinnamon 28 oz chicken broth 3/4 cup lentils 3/4 cup rice

2.25 cup Lentils, Mature Seeds
2.25 cup Rice, White, Long-grain, Regular, Cooked
1 medium Onions
4 clove Garlic
1 tbsp Olive Oil
4 serving Wolfgang Puck Organic Free-Range Chicken Broth
3 tsp Cumin
1.5 tsp Chili Powder
0.5 tsp Cinnamon, Ground

Recipe Directions for Lentil Mujadara

  1. Cut up onion and garlic and cook them in olive oil for a few minutes.

  2. Add the spices. Cook another minute or so and add the broth and the lentils. Bring it to the boil, reduce heat, cover, cook for about 10 minutes. Add the rice, boil, reduce heat, cover, cook for another 20 minutes. Stir it now and then.
