Low Fat,Low calorie curried lentils

Recipe Ingredients for Lentil, Fish curry

5 cups water
2 cups lentils
5 tablespoons curry powder
4 fillets, sole
1 large onion
4 cloves garlic
1 tsp paprika
3 tablespoons plain yogurt
1 tbsp olive oil

Recipe Directions for Lentil, Fish curry

  1. Season fish with lime, salt and black pepper

  2. Add olive oil to hot pot

  3. Add curry powder and stir vigoursly until curry froms into a paste

  4. Add onions and garlic (chopped)

  5. Add 1/2 cup water and let simmer until onions are fully cooked

  6. Add fish and cover for 4 mins

  7. Take out fish and put aside, then add a can of lentils to the pot

  8. Let cook for 5 mins

  9. Add fish again and mash into the lentils until all fish is flaked and evenly distributed throughout the curry

  10. Add paprika and yogurt to taste
