Hungarian lentil dish by my Mum. You may add some vinegar at the end, or some onion at the beginning.

Recipe Ingredients for Lentil dish

500 grams Lentils
45 grams Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Unenriched
375 grams Cream, Sour, Reduced Fat, Cultured
40 grams Apti Sunflower Oil
2 Glass Water
1 tbsp, crumbled Bay Leaf
1 tsp Pepper, Black
2 tsp Salt, Table

Recipe Directions for Lentil dish

Soak lentils in water overnight. Rinse, then put in a big pan with water, bay leaf, salt and pepper. When the lentils are almost cooked, in a separate, small pan heat oil, fry flour until golden, then add a little water, and stir well. Mix this thickening and sour cream into the cooked lentils. Bring to boil, cook for about 10 minutes.
