Recipe Ingredients for Lentil & collard Green Soup

2 1tsp Olive Oil
1 large Onions
1 tsp Sea Salt
1 cup Red Lentils
7 cup (8 fl oz) Water
3 Cube Vegetable Stock Cubes
16 oz Frozen Collard Greens
9 tsp Cumin
1 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
2 tbsp Minced Garlic
0.33 cup Lemon Juice, Canned Or Bottled

Recipe Directions for Lentil & collard Green Soup

  1. rinse & drain lentils

  2. chop onion, saute with salt in olive oil

  3. when translucent, add lentils & cook 1 minute.

  4. add water, & all remaining ingredients EXCEPT lemon juice

  5. add lemon juice right before serving

  6. I served over brown basmati rice
