Modified from another CC user, this recipe uses roma tomatoes, eliminates the oregano and uses less onion.

Recipe Ingredients for Lentil Cabbage Stew

1 1/3 cup lentils
4 cups water
4 cups chicken broth
2 carrots, chopped
1/2 head cabbage, chopped
1/4 cup onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
3 roma tomatoes

Recipe Directions for Lentil Cabbage Stew

Place lentils and liquids in pot and simmer for 60 minutes. Add veggies and simmer another 30 minutes or until veggies are tender.
