Quick and nutritious soup for those cold, wintry days and nights.

Recipe Ingredients for Lentil and Brown Rice Soup

1/2 c. brown rice, cooked
1/2 c. red lentils
3 cups chicken broth, low sodium
1/4 t. thyme
1/4 t. marjoram
1 T. miso
1/8 c. diced onion

Recipe Directions for Lentil and Brown Rice Soup

Put broth adn red lentils into 2 qt. saucepan and simmer for at least 30 minutes, add rice and onions, cook 10 minutes more. Mix miso paste in with a little water and add after soup has been off heat.
