Recipe Ingredients for Lemony Cashew-Basil Pesto on Pasta

1 clove garlic
3 tbsp lemon juice
3/4 tsp sea salt
3/4 tsp dry mustard
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp water
1 cup cashews
2 1/2 cup fresh basil
225 grams dry pasta

Recipe Directions for Lemony Cashew-Basil Pesto on Pasta

  1. Puree garlic, lemon juice, mustard, salt, oil and water in food processor or blender.

  2. Add basil and cashews then puree some more.

  3. Cook the pasta.

  4. Toss on the pesto. Add pepper if you like pepper. Add some pasta water if you dislike dry pasta.
