Vietnamese dish using soy sauce/lime or lemon juice mixture substituted for fish sauce.

Recipe Ingredients for Lemongrass Chicken

1 lb chicken breast, cubed
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tsp lemongrass
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper

Recipe Directions for Lemongrass Chicken

  1. Marinate chicken in lemongrass and crushed red pepper at least one hour.

  2. Heat skillet over med-high, add oil, then chicken. Saute approx 1 to 2 minutes until begin to brown.

  3. Add soy sauce/lemon or lime juice and stir.

  4. Reduce heat and simmer until sauce is reduced.

  5. Serve over hot rice.
