Lemonade made with fresh squeezed lemons - from Cooking Light

Recipe Ingredients for Lemonade

1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1 1/2 cups lemon juice, 9-11 lemons
3 1/2 cups cold water
2 cups ice, crushed

Recipe Directions for Lemonade

  1. Make a simple syrup by boiling 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water about 1 minute or until sugar is dissolved

  2. Cool syrup completely in refrigerator

  3. After syrup is cooled, add lemon juice, 3.5 cups of cold water and 2 cups ice
