Delicious, especially with honey greek yogurt!

Recipe Ingredients for Lemon yogurt waffles

1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup White Whole Wheat Flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
8 oz Yogurt Plain Low-Fat
1 cup 1% milk
1/4 cup egg substitute
3 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoons lemon zest
3/8 cup canola oil
2 tbs sugar

Recipe Directions for Lemon yogurt waffles

  1. Put all the ingredients in a medium mixing bowl then whip them together on medium-high speed until it makes a smooth batter.

  2. Heat up a belgian waffle iron, and pour about 1/2-3/4 cup of batter over the iron, spreading it evenly and cook for the normal time for the iron. If you want them extra crispy (and freaking amazing) cook them an extra 30 sec to min before removing them. Best if served immediately.
