Recipe Ingredients for Lemon-Rosemary Butter Cookies

4 oz Butter
1/4 cup Sugars, Granulated
1 tsp Rosemary
1/2 tsp Lemon Peel
2 large Egg, Yolk
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 cup Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Bleached
1/3 cup Corn Flour
1 1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
1/4 tsp Sea Salt
1 tablespoon Powdered Sugar

Recipe Directions for Lemon-Rosemary Butter Cookies

  1. Beat softened butter, sugar, rosemary, and lemon zest with electric mixer until creamy. Beat in egg yolks & vanilla.

  2. Whisk together flours, baking powder, and salt in separate bowl, then beat into butter mixture until just combined.

  3. Shape dough into 2 1-inch-wide logs. Wrap logs in wax paper and chill for 2 hours.

  4. Preheat oven to 325*F.

  5. Slice cookies into 1/3-inch-thick rounds.

  6. Pour powdered sugar into bowl. Press one cut side of cookies into sugar, then place on 2 baking sheets sugar side up.

  7. Bake 15 minutes, or until golden brown on the bottom. Cool on wire racks.

  8. Enjoy!
