Recipe Ingredients for Lemon Rice with Almonds

4 cup Brown Rice
1 cup Shelled Edamame
0.25 cup, slivered Almonds
1 lemon yields Lemon Juice
0.5 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
1 stalk, medium (7-1/2" - 8" long) Celery
0.5 carrot (7-1/2") Carrots

Recipe Directions for Lemon Rice with Almonds

  1. Cook rice as instructed

  2. Cook shelled edamame as instructed

  3. saute onions, celery, carrots and almonds together

  4. add zest and juice of one lemon to the rice

  5. add the sauteed mix and cooked edamame to the rice, stir together
