Lawry's lemon pepper only has 224 mg of sodium per tsp. Use 1 tsp at a time and rub it into the chicken. Be sure to remove the skin from your portion to reduce the fat content.

  1. Rub the lemon pepper on the chicken before placing it in your crockpot. You might find a salt free version at your health food store. Cook them on high 6-7 hours, or low 8-10 hours.  This is as good as the rotisserie chickens you get from the market but a lot cheaper.
