Lemony pasta dish that can be a main dish (4 servings) or a side dish (6 servings)

Recipe Ingredients for Lemon Pasta

2/3 cup olive oil
2/3 cup freshly grated parmesan
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice (about 2 lemons worth)
3/4 t. salt
1/2 t. ground black pepper
1 pound dried spaghetti
1/3 cup fresh basil
1 T. grated lemon zest

Recipe Directions for Lemon Pasta

Whisk oil, parmesan, lemon juice, 3/4 t. salt and 1/2 t. pepper to blend. Set lemon sauce aside. Bring large pot of salted water to boil and add spaghetti, cook til firm to bite, 8 minutes. Drain, reserving 1 cup of boiling water. Add spaghetti to lemon sauce and toss with basil and lemon zest. Toss with enough of reserved cooking liquid, 1/4 cup at a time, to moisten. season pasta with more salt and pepper to taste. This makes 4 main course servings, or six side dishes
