Recipe Ingredients for Lemon Loaf

104 grams Margarine Non-Hydrogenated Calorie Reduced
1 cup Sugars, Granulated
110 grams 100% Liquid Egg Whites
1/2 cup Milk, Nonfat, Fluid
195 grams Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Bleached
6 g psyllium husk
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 GLAZE
1/4 cup Lemon Juice, Canned Or Bottled
0.33 cup(200 g) Sugars, Granulated

Recipe Directions for Lemon Loaf

In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar. Beat in egg whites gradually. Blend in milk. In a secon bowl, stir together flour and baking powder. Pour ofver liquid mixture and stir to moisten. Spoon into greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees: 40-60 minutes for large loaf and 35-40 minutes for 2 mini loaves. GLAZE: Combine lemon juice and 1/3 cup sugar in small saucepan. Heat and stir to dissolve sugar. Remove loaves from oven and make several small holes in top with a toothpick or bamboo skewer. Spoon glaze over hot loaf. Cool and remove from pans.
