This soup is filling, and delicious. Chicken and garlic with a hint of lemon.

Recipe Ingredients for Lemon Chicken Garlic Soup

2 cups chicken breast
3 cups egg noodles (dry)
1/2 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup onion (diced)
1 cup carrot (diced)
2 cloves garlic
6 cups water
6 tsp chicken bouillon
1 can cream of chicken soup

Recipe Directions for Lemon Chicken Garlic Soup

  1. Cook egg noodles, according to directions. Leave them a little al dente. Set aside.

  2. Chop carrots, and onions. Add minced garlic and set aside. (Note: if you don't like too much garlic, just add one clove.)

  3. Mix water and bouillon in pot. Add can of cream of chicken soup with additional water.

  4. Mix in onions, carrots and garlic.

  5. Chop precooked chicken, and add.

  6. Squeeze lemon juice into pot. Add lemon zest for additional flavor, if desired.

  7. Heat on high for 20 minutes. Add egg noodles and heat an additional 10-15 or until carrots are soft.
