Recipe Ingredients for LEMON BREAD {WEIGHT WATCHER POINTS: 7}

1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon salt
6 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon lemon zest
1/2 cup milk
1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup chopped nuts
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 cup sugar

Recipe Directions for LEMON BREAD {WEIGHT WATCHER POINTS: 7}

  1. CREAM 1 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 1 t. salt, 6 T. butter, 1 T. lemon zest.

  2. ADD c. milk, 1 c. flour, 1 t. baking powder, c. chopped nuts.

  3. BAKE: 325 degrees for 60 minutes. (May not need full 60 minutes if baking two small loaves.)

  4. GLAZE: Mix juice of 1 lemon, c. sugar.

  5. POUR OVER HOT BREAD.
