1 1/2 cups + 3 Tbs AP flour 1/2 cups powdered sugar 3/4 cup cold butter 4 eggs, slightly beaten 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar 1 tsp baking powder 1/2 cup lemon juice (fresh or bottled) additional powdered sugar

Recipe Ingredients for Lemon Bars

1 1/2 cup Gold Medal All Purpose Flour
0.18 cup Gold Medal All Purpose Flour
1/2 cup, unsifted Sugars, Powdered
3/4 cup Butter
4 large Egg, Whole
1 1/2 cup Sugars, Granulated
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
1/2 cup Lemon Juice, Canned Or Bottled

Recipe Directions for Lemon Bars

  1. Preheat oven to 350. In medium bowl, combine 1 1/2 cups flour and 1/2 cup powdered sugar; cut in butter until crumbly. Press onto bottom of lightly greased 13X9 baking pan; bake 15 minutes. Cool.

  2. In large bowl, combine eggs, granulated sugar, 3 Tbs flour, baking powder, and lemon juice. Mix well. Pour over cooled crust.

  3. Bake 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool. Cut into bars. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar.

  4. Store covered in refrigerator, but serve at room temperature.
