Used 2 cups of splenda put called for sugar. OK put cooked too long, lemon filling should be like custard

Recipe Ingredients for Lemon Bars

2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
3/4 cups powdered sugar
1 cup light margarine
4 large eggs
2 cups splenda
1/3 cup lemon juice
1 tsp lemon zest
1/2 tsp baking powder

Recipe Directions for Lemon Bars

  1. Combine flour and 2 cups flour and 1/2 cup powdered sugar

  2. Cut in butter using a fork until crumbled dough forms

  3. Put dough in a greased 9x13 pan forming a crust

  4. Bake at 350 20 minutes or until golden

  5. Meanwhile whisk eggs until smooth

  6. Whisk in 2 cups splenda, lemon zest, and lemon juice

  7. Combine 1/4 cup flour and 1/2 tsp baking powder in small bowl

  8. Whisk flour mixture into egg mixture

  9. Pour over hot crust and bake 20 minutes or until custard is set

  10. Let cool and then top with remaining powdered sugar
