Makes a tray of delicious biscotti for all occasions (contains almonds).

Recipe Ingredients for Lemon and almond biscotti

2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
3/4 cup superfine sugar
1/2 cup almonds
2 large eggs
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup lemon rind

Recipe Directions for Lemon and almond biscotti

  1. Mix the dry ingredients.

  2. Add the lemon juice. Add the eggs.

  3. Knead until smooth.

  4. Bake until light golden. Let cool for 15 minutes.

  5. Cut into 1/2 inch slices. Bake again on both sides until golden.
